Second Spring at Large

Second Spring is a place of community recovery. Residents of our program work with our Clinical team and Recovery Staff on regaining skills that will enable them to enjoy a full and meaningful life. Community involvement plays a large part in the recovery process. As residents work toward their individual treatment goals, Second Spring provides outings that are educational and stimulating and offer opportunities to enjoy places and events in local communities that they may have not been able to for quite some time.

Residents enjoy outings to all of the Vermont State Parks that include activities such as swimming, cookouts & picnics as well as fishing. They also participate in outings to practice daily living skills such as visits to local libraries, banking and post office, and shopping at local businesses.

A sampling of activities and outings include:

The Rokeby Museum
